peoplexs for developers

With Peoplexs Web Services, you can integrate Peoplexs with corporate applications, company websites and portals, and develop single-signon and synchronization solutions.
The Peoplexs Web services API provides programmatic access to your organization’s Peoplexs information using a simple and secure application programming interface (API).
Via our online API section you can; test our methods, read frequently asked questions and log issues or questions to us. This helps you to make best use of our webservices by enabling you to test our methods before writing a single line of code. You can see what data is returned within each call and what parameters you need to supply. It can also help you get a feel for which methods you need to achieve the functionality you are requiring.

1. Get access to the APIs

Existing customers can speak to their consultants. Prospective customers can contact +31 (0)70 85 09 100

2. Setup your development environment

Developers can use an Integrated Development Enviroment (IDE) that supports web services. PeopleXS APIs will work with any environment that supports SOAP-based web services.
Confirm that the API is enabled for your account. For PeopleXS customers, your consultant can assist the developer or client with this step. For prospective customers your account will be API-enabled by default.
Ensure that you have a valid username and password.
Import the WSDL into the development environment. The WSDL for the most recent version of the PeopleXS APIs is located within our API section (see links below)

3. Get samples, documentation and support

A number of questions and answers can be found. The questions and answers section will be updated continually and can also help you get an idea of where to start and which methods to use.
The complete documentation for the APIs will soon be available. In the meantime, you can find all the details you need for each method within our “Test a Method’ section (this requires a valid username and password.
If you have a question, you can post it on using our ‘Log an Issue’ section. By using this form we will have all the information we need to respond to your query in good time. We will also include your questions in the “questions and answers” section for future reference to you and other developers using our API.
