_Release 2.26
New workflow-engine ensuring the best fit with your organisation
The new release of PeopleXS offers a new workflow-engine. This is the part of the PeopleXS application that guards all your actions and keeps track of the status history. You will probably not notice it, since the new engine mainly does all its work "under the hood". But if you are looking for more flexibility, this release will have everything you need:
- Define as many workflow's as you want
- Connect them to any part of the PeopleXS application: candidates, vacancy management, customer relation management, etc
- Specialise the workflow for departments/customers and vacancies
- Achieve full automation of the workflow steps
The new workflow-engine is a very specialised tool. To use it you will need additional training or outsource it to the PeopleXS helpdesk. You can reach us through the usual channels.
To introduce the new workflow-engine we would like to give you the following examples:
Apply a different workflow based on the candidates profile
Example: you probably want to use another procedure depending on the type of candidate you are dealing with. Some candidates you would like to have extensively tested while others you would like to join assessments centers, do background checks etc.
For all those types you can now define a seperate workflow and let the workflow-engine link the correct workflow depending of the type of candidate you are dealing with.
Apply a different workflow based on the vacancy type
Example: next to your standard procedure for a vacancy you would like to keep seperate procedures for when you are first promoting a vacancy internally, or when you are not really hiring but aim to build up a shortlist or reservelist for a position. You can define a workflow for each of these processes and let the workflow-engine link the correct workflow depending of the type of vacancy you are dealing with.
Apply a workflow for vacancy management, customer management, etc. Next to the staffing and hiring workflow
Example: you can define a workflow for each type of process in your organisation. When you would like to support vacancy management already when departments in your company (or your customers if you are an recruitment agency) start planning and budgetting for their needs, you can incorporate this in workflow. The same is true for customer management, prospect management, and whatever process you might think of.
Use a different workflow for organisational units
Example: When you are a large company or recruitment agency, your organisational units, branches and customers will all have a very diverse way of organising staffing and hiring, vacancy management, etc. The workflow-engine will let you define workflows for all these different part of your organisation.
Automated decision of what the next step should be
Example: when a candidate's CV is approved by one of your customers you would like to send the file to your recruiter to arrange an interview. But when he or she is rejected you would like to ask your recuiter to send him a letter (or see if there is another match). This decision can be stored in the workflow-engine, routing the application through your organisation fully automated.
