<p>Many companies and non-profit organizations in Europe have executed their planned hiring strategies of end 2012. Despite more challenging times economically, many organizations seem to still outgrow their competitors in areas as retail, production and services. Also governmental organizations are evaluating their social recruitment reach to be able to continue to attract talent leaving traditional paths behind.</p>
<p>As a result People<sup>xs</sup> has seen an increase in its customer base, particularly in Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands. Over the first quarter of 2013 Peoplexs has already seen a growth of 10% compared to the Q1 2012 increase attained last year.</p>

<p>As a professional social network LinkedIn is becoming increasingly important in the recruitment of new talent. Peoplexs has made it possible to proactively search through LinkedIn via social search tools, and it is now also possible to use an “apply via LinkedIn” button on a company website, social media outlets, and job boards. Using the button candidates can react directly to vacancies with their LinkedIn profiles, thereby streamlining and simplifying the application process. </p>
<p>Using the LinkedIn button lowers the entry barriers for applicants by making it easier for them to send more information with less effort. Candidates can choose to submit their information via traditional methods or via their LinkedIn profiles. When a candidate uses the LinkedIn button their profile is sent directly to the Peoplexs recruitment system.</p>
<p>Recruiters receiving up-to-date LinkedIn profiles are able to obtain insight into the experiences, educations, recommendations, and networks of job candidates. All information from the LinkedIn profile is placed into the recruiting system and matched with the organization and vacancy. Data can also be analyzed and shared in reports. </p>
<p>The “apply via LinkedIn” was made available on May 1, 2013 in the Peoplexs recruitment system. Current clients will receive more information via the Peoplexs community page and network.

The new interface, named Agile, is intuitive and user friendly and allows recruiters to work faster and more efficiently. By implementing this update People<sup>xs</sup> is helping organizations to increase their focus on the recruitment and development of talent. </p>
<p>In working both with clients and professional designers the interface has been created to have a modern look and feel. A unique use of frames and colors allows for information to be more clearly shown, and dynamic screens and interactive buttons add more usability to the system. Recruiters are able to customize the software to their own needs and iInformation regarding job candidates, vacancies, and contacts can be viewed at a glance. With dynamic screens recruiters can pull up additional information about topics and individuals without having to leave the main page. The Agile interface allows information to be better structured and more easily within reach. </p>

<p>People<sup>xs</sup> is supporting the transition to the new interface with instruction videos, presentations, and open days for client visits. During the process of switching to the new interface clients will have the option to switch back and forth between the old and the new interface to help them adapt and learn. Reactions since the release have been glowing. <i>“The new interface looks very nice. The information is clearly shown and we can work well with it,” said one client. Another client said, “The screens are neat and clean and the application is even simpler to use than before.”</i></p>
<p>The new interface is the first phase of the People<sup>xs</sup> project Agile. Agile means flexible, modern, user friendly, and intuitive. Agile will be delivered in three phases en gives recruiters a complete and innovative platform that will put them in a position to more easily find the right talent for their organizations. </p>

The new look and feel is therefore even more intuitive and fully adapted to the needs of recruiters. The new interface is received very well with comments like “looks promising” and “I can not wait to work with the new interface”. The official release of the new interface will be at the end of January.</p>
<p>People<sup>xs</sup> also works on the development of the second and third phase of agile. Currently there are integrations with e.g. SAP, Oracle, AFAS, SD Worx and Unit 4, which enables organizations to easily exchange data between different operating systems. The second phase consists a simplified setup, so users are able to make adjustments to the system more easily. In the third phase, which will be completed in 2013, People<sup>xs</sup> focuses on mobile recruitment. The platform will be fully accessible via mobile, which gives recruiters access to information anytime and anywhere. It will also be possible to easily create a mobile career site in the look and feel of the organization. This enables organisations to reach an even larger group of candidates and give them an optimal candidate experience.</p>

HR service-provider SD Worx and the Dutch cloud-technology company People<sup>xs</sup> have concluded a strategic partnership for the distribution and implementation of the e-recruitment application of People<sup>xs</sup>. This was announced by both partners today at the HR Tech Europe Fair in Amsterdam. The partnership gives SD Worx exclusivity for the recruitment app on the Belgian market. The People<sup>xs</sup> app is scaleable, and can therefore be used by both small firms, large multinationals, care organisations and State enterprises.</b></p>
<p>The aim of the partnership is to offer firms an integrated state-of-the-art e-recruitment application that supports the administrative recruitment process, optimises the influx of new employees (more and better candidates) and contributes to the employer&#8217;s image. The tool also provides for better candidate experience, the way in which a potential employee experiences the job-application process. All too often, job applicants get no response, or only an automatic answer by mail. They have to create personal profiles, fill in Web forms and upload their CVs time after time. Whether a recruitment process is successful or not nowadays depends increasingly more often on the experience created by employers and recruiters.  </p>

<p>From the technical point of view, SD Worx&#8217;s new software program offers numerous functionalities. For example, it contains a search function for social media sites like Facebook, LinkedIn and Xing, with which a recruiter can search through social media databases using certain keywords, as well as criteria such as length of work experience and education/training. Other functions include multiposting (publishing job vacancies on various job-sites), automatic CV-extraction, workflow modelling, and various portals including an environment for collaboration with recruitment &#038; selection agencies. </p>

It’s the Search! tool of Textkernel. Through this search-tool you are able to search through social media databases on certain keywords, but also on criteria such as years of experience and education. The many filtering options make the queries very precise and ensure reliable and usable results.</p>
