Editor issue

Previously, if you were writing text into an editor inside peoplexs, and hit the ENTER key, some extra white space would appear between the old and the new line. This is now changed so that pressing the ENTER key will create a newline, but without any extra whitespace in between. The old 'workaround' of pressing Shift-Enter still works as it used to and is now identical to just pressing ENTER. Text currently present in peoplexs will not be modified by this change.

No activation in Setup is required for this change.

Simple editor for vacancy texts

We switched the editor for vacancy texts to a more simplified version. The former editor had a lot of functions, like ability to add images and changing font colors, which could mess up the way the vacancy text would show within the layout of your website. The new editor only has the most basic options:

These remaining options are:

  • Paste as plain text
  • Bold
  • Italic
  • Insert/remove numbered list
  • Insert/remove bulleted list
  • Insert/edit link
  • Remove link
  • Maximize the editor size (full-screen)
  • View source
You would still have to instruct your users not to use windows standard copy/paste, but always use the "Paste as plain text" from the editor. As this would otherwise still insert formatting in the text.

The choice of editor is not available in setup. But it is possible for us to restore the former editor if you would like that better. Please contact our helpdesk if you would want the former editor restored.
