Print candidates
On application tab of a vacancy add a new action: action print candidate: select one or several or all candidates (like mass update) which you want to print out. Before you print you should have the option to select "print CV only" or print all attachments of a candidate.

I completely agree with visentin, I think this would make a lot of sense.
I only would like to add something. I think it would be very useful if you could perfom the prining as you send emails or do status updates in the application tab. There should be an option that says print candidates. In the next step, you should be able to select which documents you would like to print. For us, it would be important that you have the following options: 1) Print overview of candidate (pdf) 2) Print CV 3) Print attachments
It would be great to have this function available next spring for the next bigger recruitment round.
Also a one button option for candidate application, CV, cover letter and other attachments initially submitted by a candidate
We just did a freeze of the top 5 wishes in the community. This idea was part of the top 5 but we didnt include it in the freeze, as we are still reluctant: the tests of the needed underlaying technology are first finished at the start of the new year. As soon as they are finished, and hopefully with good results, we will give a plan for the implementation of this idea.
Does this mean that if the tests are successful in Jan, this can be added to the Feb release or that then it could be added to the following one?
This case would make a large impact on our graduate recruitment rounds that kick off again in March so if we can get this into the February release...
@neavev, anything I would say now in answer to your questions would be guess work, so I would rather not. I will use this blog entry to keep you posted on the status(also on intermediate test results during december, and then the final test in january).
There is a lot of interest in this idea, also on the user conference we had in Denmark last month this was by far the most wanted. Thank you alll for your comments and votes, your message have really come across. We will keep our focus on the technical challenge and do our outmost to get this realized.
We finished the proof-of-concept with good results. There were a lot of delays but that is not unusual when trying something new. We now have a solution in "lab" state that is more robust and faster then the current one and can also handle more document formats. We will continue now to the coming month with (stress) testing the new solution. It should pass a couple of test milestones to be able to make it, but so far so good.
The new "Print all" is now finished and ready to ship! We have tested it thoroughly with large batches of files and we very much like the result. Follow the Labs section where more information is published soon.

This idea has also been posted on the dutch community www.peoplexs.com/communities/nl/ideas/index.cfm/2009/5/4/Bulk-cvs-uitprinten.
To give an English update on the discussion that was already taking place on the dutch community: We are already looking into this idea and have been running a beta-test with one of our customers. Here we learned that the underlaying technology necessary to make these kind of prints is not stable enough so it can be rolled-out. Therefore we wait for an update of the technology and run a new test. This will first happen earliest in the start of the new year.
