March release: announcement
We are happy to announce the upcoming March release of peoplexs. This release will contain the following new features:
- Improved advanced search functionality (all editions)
- Out-of-office assistant for manager portal (professional)
- Task reminder e-mails – adjust template per wf step (professional)
- Sharing Accounts data across teams (enterprise)
- Automatic merge of new candidates (all editions)
- Filter vacancy related documents on manager portal (professional)
- Cross-section overview with no. of applicants and workflow steps (all editions)
- Integration with assessment product Professional Learning Indicator (PLI) (professional)
- Integration with assessment product Predictive Index (PI) (professional)
- Extend time-out manager portal (professional)
- Mark new templates as not-available by default (professional)
- Save LinkedIn URL with contact persons (all editions)
- Enable phone extension field in macro's (professional)
- Enable appetizer in preview tab of manager portal (professional)
Pre-announcements of the the new features will become available on the Labs server. As soon as features are developed, additional detailed descriptions with examples and screen shots will be available in the March 2012 category of the Labs section in the community. Please pay a regular visit here or subscribe to the Labs by mail so you are kept up to date with the developments.
The release schedule will be:
- January 20: lab notes made available
- March 5: latest change on stage server, release freeze
- March 19: release goes live
There are label changes expected that need translation in the below developments.

December release is live
We are happy to announce that the December release is live.
This release contains the following new features:

August release further postponed
The August release, has been further postponed 1 week due to beta testing of the new video integration component. The release is rescheduled to be rolled out during the late hours of October 15th and is currently planned to become available to your organization, customers and/or candidates on October 17th.

The August release, planned for September 24th, has been postponed to October 8th. The release will be rolled out during the late hours of October 8th and will become available to your organization, customers and/or candidates on October 10th. At this time your production environment will be updated with the new functionality, as described in the Aug 2011 category of the Labs section, in the community.

New PeopleXS Interactive Web Services Manual
A new interactive user guide has been developed to support the PeopleXS Web Services. The guide allows users to view details of all the web service methods including: descriptions, parameters, return types and more.
It is also possible for users to test the methods within the interactive user guide; simply input the relevant parameters, press the 'submit' button and view the results of the call.
The 'login' method available under the 'Show LoginXS' button should always be used first to generate a session key.
For those who prefer a printed user guide; simply select the 'Generate PDF' button in the menu.
To access the user guide, login to your PeopleXS environment. Go to 'Setup' --> 'Integration' --> 'PeopleXS Api'
If you have external developers working on your behalf, you can set them up as a user in your environment with a role of 'Developer'. This will enable them to use the interactive user guide only.

May release postponed
The May release, planned for May 23rd, has been postponed to June 13th to allow you as the customer additional time to test the new development features. The release will be rolled out during the late hours of June 11th and will become available to your organization, customers and/or candidates on June 13th. At this time your production environment will be updated with the new functionality, as described in the May 2011 category of the Labs section, in the community.
We will spend the next few weeks enhancing the release and as of May 28th, all new functionality will be available for customer acceptance testing on the Labs server.

Peoplexs release
The new release will be available in the live environment of Peoplexs next weekend. Maintenance for making this release available will be performed in the night between April 2 and April 3. During the maintenance Peoplexs will be available.
A description of new functionality can be found under the Labs tab of the community and can be recognized by the category ´Februari 2011´.
May release: announcement
We are happy to announce the upcoming May release of peoplexs.
This release will contain the following new features:
- Link candidate from archive to vacancy
- Link existing contactperson to vacancy
- Keep lay-out sending reports (in campaign management)
- Improve search usability
- Candidate search - show basic details
- Show candidate picture in light user version
- Mark new template as not-available for any workflow-task by default
- Additions to UNIO interface
- Possibility to show e-form directly after status update
- New interface for job posting
- Emptying files in recycle bin
- Text translations for English
Temp hiring
- New macros in (vacancy, agency, contactperson) application workflow
- Support form flows in managersportal
The new features will come available on the Labs
server as soon as they are developed together with a detailed description
with examples and screen shots in the May
2011 category of the Labs section in the community. Please pay a regular
