The Service window is postponed to next weekend and will be performed without downtime.
Announcement maintenance January 21/22 2012
The weekend of January 21/22, we will make use of our regular maintenance window, which runs from Saturday 20:00 until 06:00 the following Sunday.
These activities include a total expanding of the servers to ensure a good performance in the future.
Because of the expansion Peoplexs will be unavailable during complete maintenance window. Work will start at 20:00 h. Half an hour in advance we will post a message that Peoplexs will be unavailable for a short while. This message will be displayed to users who are working in Peoplexs and for candidates who are on a vacancy- or candidates portal. Also during the maintenance a message will be shown on Peoplexs website, vacancy- and candidateportal that Peoplexs will be unavailable for a short while.

Peoplexs available again
As you have probably noticed Peoplexs was unavailable for some time this morning. This was caused by a network outage, that has now been resolved. Peoplexs is now completely available again.

Changes to Peoplexs e-mail server
From the first week of October 2011 we will start using a new mail server for sending email from Peoplexs. This will be a mail server that is specifically designed for sending large numbers of emails and is prepared for the growth in outgoing email we are currently experiencing.
We inform you of this change as it may have consequences on receiving email sent from Peoplexs within your own organization. Customers who had problems with this in the past probably created an SPF record for smtp.peoplexs.com which is referred to the IP-address of our current mail server. Since this mail server will be changed so will the IP-address. The new IP address will be: 212.72.56.74.
We want to advise you to contact your IT department with the information above and ask them if a SPF record for Peoplexs is setup. If this is the case then the new IP-address can be added to the current SPF record. Once the change is performed we will inform you through our community so the old IP address can be removed from the SPF record.

Announcement maintenance May 14/15 2011
The upcoming weekend we will make use of our regular maintenance window, which runs from Saturday 20:00 until 06:00 the following Sunday.
This maintenance window is used to place a general Patch on the live environment of Peoplexs.
Because of the patch we need to update the database and Peoplexs will be unavailable for 2 to 3 hours. Work will start at 01:00 h CET on Sunday. Half an hour in advance we will post a message that Peoplexs will be unavailable for a short while. This message will be displayed to users who are working in PeopleXS and for candidates who are on a vacancy- or candidates portal.

The upcoming weekend we will make use of our regular maintenance window, which runs from Saturday 20:00 until 06:00 the following Sunday.
This maintenance window is used to place the 'April 2011 Patch part 1' on the live environment of Peoplexs. See the Peoplexs support portal for the cases that are resolved in this patch.
Because of the patch we need to update the database and Peoplexs will be unavailable for 1 hour. Work will start at 20:00 h CET on Saturday. Announcement URGENT maintenance April 4th 2011
Monday April 4th our network supplier has to execute some urgent maintenance to the Peoplexs servers.
Because of the maintenance our servers need to be rebooted. The servers will be rebooted one at a time so no availability problems are expected. The reboot will be performed at 21:00 h and will not take longer then a couple of minutes.

Announcement URGENT maintenance November 23, 2010
This evening our network supplier has to execute some urgent maintenance to the network that supports PeopleXS.
The PeopleXS infrastructure is being migrated to a new network. As most migrations have already been carried out successfully, the migration of the last remaining components cause problems with the availability of the community.
To resolve these problems, the planned future migration activities will now all be executed already this evening.
In the time frame between 22:00 and 23:00 there will be a couple of minutes where the PeopleXS network is not available due to the migration.

Announcement maintenance November 20/21 2010
The upcoming weekend we will make use of our regular maintenance window, which runs from Saturday 20:00 until 06:00 the following Sunday.
These activities will contain the release of the latest PeopleXS version.
During the update there can be some hick-ups in the connection and in the time frame of 22:00 until 23:00 PeopleXS will not be available. Anybody trying to use PeopleXS during the period from 22:00 and 23:00 will receive a maintenance message and will be asked to try again later.
