March release: announcement
We are happy to announce the upcoming March release of peoplexs. This release will contain the following new features:
- Improved advanced search functionality (all editions)
- Out-of-office assistant for manager portal (professional)
- Task reminder e-mails – adjust template per wf step (professional)
- Sharing Accounts data across teams (enterprise)
- Automatic merge of new candidates (all editions)
- Filter vacancy related documents on manager portal (professional)
- Cross-section overview with no. of applicants and workflow steps (all editions)
- Integration with assessment product Professional Learning Indicator (PLI) (professional)
- Integration with assessment product Predictive Index (PI) (professional)
- Extend time-out manager portal (professional)
- Mark new templates as not-available by default (professional)
- Save LinkedIn URL with contact persons (all editions)
- Enable phone extension field in macro's (professional)
- Enable appetizer in preview tab of manager portal (professional)
Pre-announcements of the the new features will become available on the Labs server. As soon as features are developed, additional detailed descriptions with examples and screen shots will be available in the March 2012 category of the Labs section in the community. Please pay a regular visit here or subscribe to the Labs by mail so you are kept up to date with the developments.
The release schedule will be:
- January 20: lab notes made available
- March 5: latest change on stage server, release freeze
- March 19: release goes live
There are label changes expected that need translation in the below developments.

Announcement maintenance January 21/22 2012
The weekend of January 21/22, we will make use of our regular maintenance window, which runs from Saturday 20:00 until 06:00 the following Sunday.
These activities include a total expanding of the servers to ensure a good performance in the future.
Because of the expansion Peoplexs will be unavailable during complete maintenance window. Work will start at 20:00 h. Half an hour in advance we will post a message that Peoplexs will be unavailable for a short while. This message will be displayed to users who are working in Peoplexs and for candidates who are on a vacancy- or candidates portal. Also during the maintenance a message will be shown on Peoplexs website, vacancy- and candidateportal that Peoplexs will be unavailable for a short while.

December release is live
We are happy to announce that the December release is live.
This release contains the following new features:
- Scheduled timing of e-mails to candidates
- Faster way to complete task update
- RSS output XML 2.0 compliant
- Integration available with Publicitas (job advertisement channel)

Peoplexs available again
As you have probably noticed Peoplexs was unavailable for some time this morning. This was caused by a network outage, that has now been resolved. Peoplexs is now completely available again.

Service disruption analysis
We are now finished with the analysis of the service disruption from last Wednesday.
The causes and its effects have all been identified and a number of improvements will be implemented to ensure an incident like this cannot repeat itself.
The papers written by our engineers are available if you would like to have more background information, or discuss our findings with your own IT department. Please let us know if you would like to receive a copy.

Peoplexs completely available
The restore finished successfully just after midnight yesterday. Since then we have performed a quality control on the restored files and performed a final test of the application with positive results.
Peoplexs is thereby completely available again.
Later this week an in-depth analysis is expected on the causes including lessons-learned of what we will need to improve so that this cannot happen again. Update file system issues peoplexs, Friday October 28, 16:00
The restore is progressing as expected. At this moment 80% of all documents are now available in the system again.
When the restore is finished during the coming night, we will do a quality control on the restored files and perform a final test of the application. These activities come to a close at Saturday morning. We will inform you by mail when these activities are carried out and peoplexs is 100% functional again with no loss of data.
Later this week an in-depth analysis is expected on the causes including lessons-learned of what we will need to improve so that this cannot happen again.
